A grassroots initiative led by women in the channel and channel management will present an inaugural workshop geared toward empowering women in technology channel sales. Developing best practices and facilitating collaboration are among the discussion topics. The cocktail hour event kicks off with a keynote address by author and business coach Kimber Lim, followed by a roundtable featuring leading women in the channel. The meeting concludes with interactive discussion of ways to continue networking and supporting women in the channel throughout 2011.

Keynote Address: Get Your Woman On! Beauty, Grace, Power And Financial Success
“Get Your Woman On!” is more than a catchphrase, it’s a philosophy that author and business coach Kimber Lim has shared with her friends and clients – women and men – for many years. It is a call to action for women to embrace their beauty, grace and power and use their innate gifts for connecting and collaborating with other people. In business this approach turns old paradigms on their head, explaining that our success does not necessarily have to come at the expense of someone else’s. In her keynote address, Lim will begin the conversation with women in the channel about what life might be like with more “us” vs. “me.”
