Channel Partners Shatters Records with 4,300 Attendees!
The momentum building around Channel Partners was evident all around with all-time high attendance, packed keynote sessions, insightful education programming, popular networking events and a buzzing expo hall.
Attendees were treated to two days of standing-room-only keynote sessions featuring Terry Wise of Amazon Web Services, Janet Schijns of Verizon Enterprise Solutions, Larry Walsh of The 2112 Group, Ellen Berlan of Cisco, Larry Kesslin of 4-Profit LLC, and Brooks McCorcle of AT&T.
The seven tracks of education programming covered mobility, sales skills, defining the new network, cloud, security, unified communications and evolving enterprise application delivery.
Channel partners could also select from a number of unique events to attend as part of the show, including Cisco's Cloud Connections Workshop, the Women in the Channel mixer, an Agent-VAR Partnering Workshop, demos of the PlanetOne Telecom Partner Toolbox, Selling Techniques Luncheons with Star2Star and Sungard, brunches hosted by Comcast Business and Verizon Enterprise Solutions, the Channel Partners' spin on Shark Tank, the Why AT&T reception and the always popular Channel Partners Zone.
Channel Partners also hosted two awards ceremonies: the second annual Channel Partners 360° Business Value Awards, which honored 50 innovative solutions providers, and the first-ever Circle of Excellence Awards, which honored 14 channel leaders for their advocacy of the indirect channel.
With more than 200 exhibitors, the expo hall was a hot spot for attendees to meet with the top technology vendors in the industry. In addition to the great exhibitors, attendees were also treated to an opening reception on Wednesday and a "Pub Crawl" on Thursday.
