Josh Anderson Mr. Anderson is the founder and CEO of Telephony Partners. His
experience in telecommunications began with CDSI, a company that
develops hardware and software to bring unique functionality to
high-end IP- and software-based PBX clients. CDSI exposed Mr.
Anderson to the telecommunications indirect sales channel and he
became convinced that a rigorously ethical master agent guided
by engineering expertise and a focus on agent support could grow
to be best of class. He subsequently founded Telephony Partners
in 2002 and the company continues to be guided by the principles
Mr. Anderson envisioned, garnering praise from agents and
carriers alike for integrity and vision. Leveraging engineering
and software expertise, the company has grown rapidly and
continues to develop relationships with VARs, telecommunication
professionals, and leading carriers.
David Blau Mr. Blau is the chief strategy officer and founding partner of
Consolidated Technologies, Inc. (CTI), a converged
communications solutions provider specializing in Avaya premise
as well as hosted solutions on their own ClearPath private
nationwide network. CTI was awarded Avaya’s Business Partner of
the Year award in 2006 and has been named as one of Inc.
magazine’s fastest growing small businesses in the U.S. Mr. Blau
currently serves as the chairman of Avaya’s SMB council. He is
the former president of the National Association of Telecom
Dealers, a 2,500 member organization representing the interests
of users, owners, buyers, sellers and maintainers of
telecommunications equipment worldwide. Prior to founding CTI,
Mr. Blau was the president and owner of Consolidated
Communications, Inc., a national wholesaler of new and
remanufactured telecommunications equipment. He sold the
business in 2002. Mr. Blau graduated from Cornell University in
1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business and political
science.
Dany M. Bouchedid Mr. Bouchedid is the CEO of Interaqt Corporation (dba COLOTRAQ).
He founded the company in 1999 with a vision of creating the
premier sourcing management consulting firm for telecom and IT
services. Today, COLOTRAQ is the largest global sourcing
management firm of its kind bringing buyers and sellers together
in over 1,300 markets across 221 countries and territories. Mr.
Bouchedid currently serves as president of the board of trustees
of the newly formed Technology Channel Association (TCA), the
indirect channel industry’s first trade association. He has
taught a number of senior-level undergraduate business school
courses including strategic management, patterns of
entrepreneurship and e-commerce. Mr. Bouchedid has been
published/quoted in various industry publications including
PHONE+ magazine, HostingTech and eWeek (formerly PC Week)
magazine. He has also been a guest speaker at various industry
trade shows and conferences. He holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in finance and management from Montclair State University
and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance and
international business from New York University's Stern School
of Business.
Jay Bradley Mr. Bradley is president of telecom services for Intelisys
Communications Inc., a master agency serving a nationwide
network of independent sales consultants and value added
resellers. He joined Intelisys in 2002 and served in executive
positions in marketing and business development. As president,
Mr. Bradley, focuses his energy on delivering exclusive
advantages to the company’s 300 top producing sales partners and
accelerated revenue growth to his supplier partners. He has more
than 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry,
including 10 years with MCI Telecommunications. He is a member
of the Intelisys Strategy Team, leads the company’s Partner
Advisory Board and is a member of numerous carrier advisory
boards and councils.
Ben Bronston Mr. Bronston is a nationally recognized expert in the field
of telecommunications law and regulation. Over the past 16 years
he has developed an extensive knowledge of legal and regulatory
issues affecting a wide variety of telecommunications companies,
including carriers, resellers, agents, master agents and support
services providers. He has provided advice and counsel to many
of the most highly regarded companies in the industry and has
served as corporate and/or regulatory counsel in numerous
transactions with an aggregate value of several billion dollars.
Mr. Bronston has served as a director for several
telecommunications companies including, most recently, Benchmark
Communications LLC, a provider of satellite television,
high-speed Internet and telephone services to apartment
complexes in the Gulf South. He is also a co-founder of Seruus
Telecom Fund LP, a private venture capital fund dedicated
exclusively to the communications industry which invested in
several companies, including iBASIS and Nuvox. Mr. Bronston is a
summa cum laude graduate of Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman
School of Business and Tulane Law School.
Adam V. Edwards Mr. Edwards is a co-founder of Telarus Inc. and currently
serves as its president. Prior to co-founding Telarus in 2002,
Mr. Edwards was vice president of finance for Quest
Manufacturing, Inc., where he led the acquisition of a new
operating unit in 2001 and helped structure the unit for
financing in 2002. From 1999 through 2001, he served as vice
president of finance for Silicon Film Technologies, Inc. In this
role, he prepared the company for its successful financing in
2000 during which the company raised $6 million. Mr. Edwards has
a background in public accounting and worked as an auditor at
KPMG LLP. His experience there ranged from auditing small
private companies to working on SEC filings for large
international and public companies. He was also involved in the
Korean Practice and the Structured Finance divisions. Mr.
Edwards holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from
Brigham Young University and is a certified public accountant.
Neil Ende Mr. Ende, an A/V-rated attorney with the Technology Law
Group, is a nationally recognized expert on telecommunications
transactional, litigation and regulatory issues. He has served
as counsel to many of the nation's largest telecommunications
resellers and agents, payphone service providers, and numerous
other companies involved in leading edge technology
applications. Mr. Ende has negotiated hundreds of carrier and
agency agreements, including agreements with major
telecommunications carriers, and has successfully litigated
complex telecommunications cases against each of the major long
distance carriers and most of the Regional Bell Operating
Companies.
Ben Henkels Mr. Henkels is the principal and founder of Communication
Management Partners. He started the company in 2001 as a telecom
agent and has shaped its direction to today's telecom brokerage
and consulting business. Mr. Henkels has been in the industry
since 1995. His experience includes tenure as director of sales
and marketing for a regional ISP and CLEC in the late 1990s as
well as being a President's Club member for a national sales
force. He is also a Certified Wireless Network Professional and
Converged Solution Provider. In 2005 he founded Henkels Holdings
Ltd. as a managed IT service provider to serve business’
increasingly complex communication needs.
Jeffrey W. Howe Mr. Howe has more than 20
years of senior management experience in the wireless, software
and telecom communication industries. A key strategic and
tactical leader for companies, he has developed new channels of
distribution, launched national expansions, restructured
under-performing sales departments, and merged sales
organizations. Mr. Howe joined PAETEC in 2007 as vice president
and general manager of agent channel. He is responsible for the
identification, development and execution of corporate channel
strategy. In addition, he has leadership responsibility for the
national partner program. Prior to joining PAETEC, Mr. Howe
worked in account management, business planning and sales
positions for Motorola, Global Crossing, Varamark Technologies
Inc. and One Communications Inc. A graduate of the University of
Wisconsin – Eau Claire, Mr. Howe serves as an active member of
the board of directors for the Ronald McDonald House and the
Credit Education Bureau as well as president of the Rochester
Futbol Club, a premier youth soccer organization, in the
Rochester, N.Y., community.
Mark Landiak Mr. Landiak is president of Corporate Dynamics
Incorporated, a Chicago-based training and consulting firm
that specializes in helping wireless carriers, master
agents, dealers and manufacturers to grow sales, keep
customers and more profitably manage their operations. He
is a frequent speaker at industry events and contributor
to magazines on sales, management and wireless
technologies. Mr. Landiak heads up the newly formed
Wireless Business Owners Consortium, a trade organization
aimed at providing wireless dealers with access to the
products, services and strategies to help them increase
sales and operate more efficiently and profitability. A
graduate of Penn State University, Mr. Landiak lives with
his wife and four children in Naperville, Ill.
William Leutzinger Mr. Leutzinger earned a Bachelor of Science degree in
telecommunications from Ball State University in 1990 and a
Master of Science degree in information communication sciences
in 1991. After graduation, he worked in sales and sales
management for communications companies, then owned and operated
two telecommunications recruiting businesses, CareerCom and
GreatNewJob.com. In the early 2000s, Mr. Leutzinger spent two
years in major account management for SBC, then left to start
WRL Communications. In 2007, he co-founded TelecomMedic, an
Internet-based agency that provides online quotes and trouble
tickets for three different telecommunications companies. Mr.
Leutzinger is also a part-time instructor in the
telecommunications graduate program at DePaul University.
Sarah Graham Linares As vice president and director of product development and
revenue assurance for TMC Communications, Ms. Linares drives the
development of new products and pricing structures for the
company’s more than 300 agent partners. A seasoned professional
with more than 15 years of telecom experience, she also leads
the team that is responsible for TMC’s customer bill analysis
and 99 percent invoice accuracy. Her product development and
technical background gives her a unique insight into
opportunities in the rapidly emerging new age of telecom.
James Lockhart Mr. Lockhart owns Telecom Management Inc. (TMi), a
solution-based telecommunication consulting firm dedicated to
providing clients with the highest level of personal service and
quality products to meet all their telecommunication needs now
and in the future. Founded in 1991, TMi has continued to grow
from a one man operation to a small master agency with voice,
network and conferencing divisions. Mr. Lockhart, a former
professional athlete, strives for excellence in all aspect of
his life – family, work and play. He serves on the ACC Advisory
Board and TMi is an ACC Presidents Club winner.
Michael McLelan Michael McLelan
is the senior vice president of business markets at PowerNet
Global Communications. In this position he oversees the SMB
sales function and the independent sales channel for the
PowerNet Global legacy LD and VoIP programs. As a member of the
PowerNet Global leadership team, he assists in preparing and
forecasting budget expenditures and sales initiatives and
represents the company at telecommunications association
conferences and events. He
has been involved in the telecommunications industry for more
than 20 years, working for such companies as Phone USA and AmeriVox Telecommunications. He also served for four years as
chairman of the Telecommunications Resellers Association (TRA –
now Comptel) Pre-Paid Services Council.
Bill Power Mr. Power is president and co-founder of ARG, a full-service
telecommunications agency based in Washington, D.C. with more
than 35 employees and 300 years of collective telecom
experience. years of coWashington, D.C.-based full service
telecommunications agency. Mr. Power founded the firm in 1991
with Greg Praske with whom he had spent 14 years running a
national trade association. The two are also founding members of
the Agent Alliance, a consortium of successful telecom agencies.
ARG, then known as Association Resource Group, initially
represented switchless resellers and marketed primarily to
national trade and professional associations located in the
nation’s capital. Over the years, other products and services
have been added to the company’s product line, creating a
comprehensive portfolio for its clients.
Brian Snortheim Brian is the director of marketing for alternate channels at Time Warner Cable Business Class (TWCBC), a full service provider of business communications solutions and the second largest MSO. He is responsible for ongoing development and execution of the company’s overall indirect channel marketing strategy.
A 13-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, Brian came to Time Warner Cable in July 2001 from AT&T Solutions, where he served in sales and business development roles. He currently serves on the PHONE+ Advisory Board and was recently honored for his significant contribution in the launch of Time Warner Cable’s indirect channel program.
Dale Stein Dale Stein, CEO of IPx
Connect, co-founded TAG National, an association of 118
independent leading integrators providing voice and data
services to SMBs. Stein supervises TAG’s strategic planning and
business development and developed its proprietary Seven Step
Sales Solution. Previously, Stein served as CEO of INET Inc.,
which achieved over $3 million per year in internal sales growth
and became the No. 1 distributor of Mitel products in North
America. Stein also founded and was CEO of Westec Security Corp.
Stein is a member of TAG’s board of directors as well as
PHONE+’s Advisory Board. He received a bachelor’s degree in
electronic engineering technology from DeVry University in
Chicago and certification from Harvard University’s Small
Company Management Program.
Ben Stiegler Mr. Stiegler’s history in telephony dates back to fourth
grade, when his frequent calls to Western Electric engineers to
ask “How does this work?" resulted in the surprise delivery of
surplus telephony equipment to his back porch. Synertel is now
celebrating its 20th anniversary of designing and deploying
converged communications solutions worldwide. A 1977 graduate of
Carleton College, Mr. Stiegler holds two Master of Science
degrees from the University of Minnesota, one in computer
science and one in human factors engineering. In 1981, he was
the youngest person in the U.S. to earn CDP certification from
the Institute for the Certification of Computer Professionals.
The father of two, Mr. Stiegler spends his spare time playing in
two local jazz and Klezmer bands and is aiming to compete in the
U.S. Crossword Championships before he turns 60.
Bill Taylor Bill Taylor, president of Corporate Ladders, is a pioneering
technology executive, industry consultant and advisor to CEOs.
His experience as director of national accounts for AT&T
Wireless as well as high-level executive positions with IBM,
Prodigy Internet and Election Inc., has provided him with a
broad, knowledge-based approach to the technology and
telecommunications industries. His success as an IT marketing
and channel development strategist has enabled him to develop an
extensive client list that includes BroadSoft, InfoHighway,
Eureka Networks and Mellon Bank.
Roger Thomas Mr. Thomas leads TeleComp’s overall business strategy. He owned
and operated his own telecommunications company, TeleCompNET,
from 1994 until 2003, when he and business partner Gino Capito
purchased Dixieland Computers, which they renamed TeleComp. Mr.
Thomas is responsible for the administration and
telecommunications sides of TeleComp. Under his direction,
TeleComp’s sales and service terms has won the national Circle
of Excellence award as an AT&T Solution Provider for the last
three years in a row. Mr. Thomas currently serves as a board
member of the AT&T Southwest Alliance Channel board of advisors
representing AT&T Solution Providers in the southwest United
States, the original Southwestern Bell territory.
