Channel Partners Conference & Expo Draws Largest Crowd to Date!
The most common review of the Spring 2011 Channel Partners Conference & Expo was: “Best show ever.”
That sentiment is backed by the numbers: About 3,300 participants – the largest crowd to date – convened at the event, which was held March 13-15 at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
But what may be more telling is the engagement of the conference- goers: from the pre-conference workshops to the early morning sessions, it was not uncommon to find 75-100 attendees. Standing-room only was reported in the most popular sessions.
Plus, hundreds of partners filled the expo hall for much of the first two days. Long-time participants were reminded of the “good old days” of telecommunications, before the bust in 2001 and, more recently, the 2009-10 recession. Marilyn Monroe and Elvis showed up for the party, attendees played games to win hot gadgets (read, iPads) and a few exhibitors – namely, Patriot Energy and TNCI – showcased premium sales incentives, including a Porsche 911 and a Ducati Streetfighter .
